Using the Early Learning and Development Guidelines for Observation and Lesson Planning

The Colorado Early Learning & Development Guidelines (ELDG) is a resource available to professionals working with young children. Did you know this tool can be used to help you observe, plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning opportunities for children ages birth to eight? During this training, we will learn about effective observation, the essential domains of learning, discuss strategies of how to align these domains with lesson planning, and create a weekly plan that you can take with you and implement immediately into your classroom environment.
