This position provides support and outreach to current and potential child care programs in Larimer County. Key functions include recruiting and supporting new providers; maintaining up-to-date Salesforce database of existing providers; and providing administrative support to the Quality Resources Manager including data tracking in Sugar CRM. This position is a member of the Quality Support Team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Recruit family child care home providers
  • Support child care providers who are Levels 1 and 2 in Colorado Shines (Colorado’s quality rating improvement system)
  • Maintain up-to-date information on all licensed child care providers in Larimer County
  • Provide administrative support to the Quality Resources Manager, including but not limited to:
  • Provide support to Mile High United Way’s Child Care Options for child care referral services for families who need additional local supports (including children with special needs);
  • Connect with family serving programs in the community to inform them of child care referral resources
  • Participate in activities and community events to promote child care recruitment, Colorado Shines and child care referrals.

Education and Work Experience Qualification:

  • Required:
    • Associates degree or a minimum of two years of professional experience
    • Competent user of technology, including MS Excel and Access.
    • Experience with CRM database, preferably Salesforce and/or Sugar CRM
    • Ability to support adults lacking technology skills with technological tasks
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently o Detail orientation with an ability connect work to the big picture
    • Organizational skills
    • Reliable transportation and ability to drive to meetings within Larimer County
  • Desired:
    • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish
    • Experience or familiarity with the field of early childhood care and education
    • An affinity for non-profit, community-based work environment
    • Comfort using social media to educate and recruit
