Early Childhood Credentials

Colorado's Early Childhood Professional Credential is a voluntary tiered system of credentials that recognizes increased knowledge and experience for those who care for and educate our youngest children.

The local professional organizations listed below all offer opportunities for you to share with your peers, remain up to date on legislation that impact our profession and remain current on issues, research and general information. Colorado Association for the Education of Young Children (CAEYC)

CAEYC serves and acts on behalf of the needs, rights and well being of children, families and early childhood educators. Provides professional development opportunities to early childhood educators.

Larimer County Chapter of the Early Childhood Education Association of Colorado

The Early Childhood Education Association of Colorado (ECEA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and guidance in the management and administration of child care centers. This is achieved through education, networking and legislative representation.
